Maria Murillo
Maria Murillo started mimicking the dancers she saw on television at the age of 8. She spent hours learning to duplicate Michael and Janet's moves. At 16, she choreographed her first dance for Cal High, she then started choreographing for numerous other events. At age 19, Maria took her first Hip Hop class and has never stopped. She loves teaching Hip Hop just as much as she loves dancing. Recently Maria started to edit music; it's helped her understand music in a whole different level and also helped in her choreography. Maria has performed at The Shark Club and House of blues with the group “8-Sided”. Teaching dance has helped her exercise her creative side and being able to pass this on to her students is a great joy to her. “Rhythm is a language all it's own”. |
